Andamooka is a mining town in the north east of South Australia. The school was rebuilt in 2008 after a series of fires and includes a double classroom, library/resource centre, swimming pool and multi-use sports court. The school has a focus on early childhood development and believes in investing in the future.

The new school and children's centre brings together childcare, preschool, health, education and parenting services. It has established an early years literacy program to encourage parents to read with their children.
